STUDIO ETIQUETTE
We are here to have just as much fun as you are! To make this possible, these are a few ways to get the most out of your time here at The Dancers’ Studio.
For Students:
-
Be On Time - Dancers who miss a portion of warmup risk injury.
-
Follow The Dress Code - the dress code is designed for the safety and proper training of our students. It allows our teachers to see things like your posture and body lines.
-
Try To Use The Restroom Before or After Class - avoid interrupting class or missing a portion of your class. If it is an emergency, let your instructor know privately.
-
No Gum/Food and No Jewelry In Class - for your safety!
-
Hair And Dance Wear Should Be Neat and Clean - you dance your best when you look your best. It’s also great etiquette in general to present yourself professionally.
-
Be Ready To Learn, Give Full Attention To Your Teacher - Avoid talking to or correcting your classmates. You may miss little details that are important to you and your training. Leave the corrections to your teacher.
-
Be Polite and Respectful To Your Classmates and Teacher - be considerate of one another ALWAYS. Choose kind words and behavior in and outside of the studio classrooms.
-
Thank The Teacher At The End Of Class!
For Parents:
We strive to provide a safe and friendly environment for our students. The Dancers’ Studio is a “No Drama Zone”. Speaking poorly of other students, parents, and staff members will not be tolerated. If you have a concern, please bring it to the attention of our front desk staff or director who may address the situation properly. Please help us maintain a safe and friendly environment for each and every person within our studio.
THANK YOU!
